I hit the stores early this year, and so glad I did! Everything was fully stocked with halloween decorations and I had so much to choose from. I knew I wanted to do a spooky theme this year, so I kept my eyes peeled for anything scary. From Skulls, to crows to nasty spiderwebs and spiders. I started with my fireplace mantle. I should have taken pictures of the mantle to gage how much stuff I would need to fill it properly, but I don’t come prepared for things like this! I ended up going back to the store 3 times. It was an adventure that I took my son on every day! He slept through it all. lol!

If you want to decorate your house, Home goods and Michaels is the way to go. Everything is pretty inexpensive, and you can really make your home look good with these $5 to $20 dollar items. Check out my mantle pictures below.
